About the Sinter Plant

THE engineering design on the sinter plant has pro- gressed beyond 80% comple- tion in line with the agreed schedule with German con- tractor, Outotec. Also, an updated 3D model of the sinter plant has been completed.

The detailed engineering of the Ore Preparation plant is ongoing. This work is executed on a Lump Sum Turnkey with Outotec GmbH.
Overall construction of the Sinter Plant has reached 59% completion. At name plate capacity, the sinter plant will produce 2.4 million tons of high grade (between 46% and 48%) sinter product.
